2h 5min integral HaRGB exposure of the central part of Mus constellation featuring the Dark Doodad Nebula (Sandqvist 149) and numerous globular clusters and dark nebulae - captured remotely using Telescope #4 (Nikkor 200mm f/2, FLI Microline 16200) system of ChileScope observatory, also known as VST - a Very Small Telescope)) during two imaging sessions carried out on May 14 and 15, 2023.

Two most beautiful sub-regions of this images are the surroundings of Collinder 261 open cluster (given below at 100% of original resolution; also shown in revision E in Ha only):

and the area occupied by Dark Doodad Nebula and NGC 4372 globular cluster shown under revision D.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
