Description

Let me express my deep gratitude to the lunar masters @Michael Kohl  and @astropical who generously gave me their invaluable advice. The picture here and the Copernicus one have been taken with the equipment changes suggested by Micha and Robert, namely the camera and the filters, and trying to follow as much as I could their methodological advice. I experimented with Red and IR BandPass filters.

There was a lot of turbulence during recording, therefore I selected the best 3% of 5000 frames.
I also discovered that the mini PC driving the mount (that works well for deep sky pictures) is not fast enough to write from RAM to SSD the huge amount of data downloaded at 60 FPS, full frame. I just swapped the PC with another that has a bigger 16GB RAM. This is improving the configuration, but what is needed to eliminate this issue is a computer with faster internal components to avoid the RAM-SSD bottleneck.
