Description

Emission nebulae NGC 7822 and Cederblad 214 are in a large molecular cloud and star forming region in the constellation Cepheus about 3000 light years away.

There are dark knots of dust in contrast against the bright nebula which may be areas that are condensing into stars.

Acquired over 2 nights - 16/19 July 2021- with Redcat 51 on Ioptron Skyguider Pro (no guiding):
- 80 x 120s Ha
- 80 x 120s OIII
- 20 x 120s SII (but not a lot of nebulosity in these)
