Description

Also known as NGC6720, the Ring Nebula, a planetary nebula, lies in the constellation Lyra at a distance of 2,300 light-years away. This beautiful nebula was created about 4,000 years ago when the central star (several times more massive than the sun) died.



Taken over several nights in June 2018 from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2



Total integration: 2600 mins (43 hr 20 mins)
