Description

The Trojan asteroid Odysseus' motion over ~ 2 1/2 hr.  Twenty 300 sec subframes, taken in two groups of ten, separated by a ~20 minute gap in order to give a gap in the image track.  I tried a red filter thinking that would give the dark asteroid better contrast.  Simple dark subtraction and flat fielding with a log stretch pushing down into the background noise. I recently went back to try and identify a few more asteroids that are in the field, magnitude and name as reported in TheSky using the MPCORB database:
A circled (1143) Odysseus mag 14.7
B (36748) 2000 RR65 mag 16.9
C (13549) 1992 EW7 mag 16.9
D (64145) 2001 TZ37 mag 16.9
E (20561) 1999 RE120 mag 17.5
F (61978) 2000 RN28 mag 18.4, barely visible
G (11892) 1991 FT2 mag 17.5
just to the right of G another "may" be detected (101196) 1998 SM26, mag 18.7,  but not certain, it is a bit past my limit
