M1 Crab Nebula (Tau) - Making a new start (with the C8 EHD)

A second DSO with the new C8 … but I feel like this is a difficult new start.
It’s the second time that I image this DSO, the first time it was with my TS140 in HaRGB, but that lacked colour in the crab.

This time with the C8, a bit more detail, more colouring of the filaments, the f10 scope gathering a lot less light compared to my TS140, so 3h48 is a bit short on data.

Similar like my Rosette image, I feel I’m having trouble with the stars. Especially in the crab itself, they seem to be blown up. The image is an improvement compared to my TS140 image, but still not the level of quality I would’ve hoped for …

But … this is just building up the experience with the C8 …

Description: Re-processing from scratch, as I felt the first version wasn’t really the quality that should’ve been achieved with the data. Cleaner background, tighter stars, softer outflow of M1 and a bit more detail. The data is a bit below par, as this was part of the trial-runs of imaging with the new C8 EHD, but the image seems quite decent (except there's still a bad sub in the stacking causing an artefact on the stars)
