Description

Narrowband of Ha, Oiii and Sii of Sh2-101, the Tulip Nebula over a few nights. This was a fun target and I chose to focus on narrowband imaging because of its composition as well the moon was near first quarter. It was also terrible seeing conditions with the hot, humid air, indicative of most Midwest evenings in the summer.

Sh2-101 is an emission nebula located in the Cygnus constellation. This is one of those targets that looks different depending on who processed it. I chose not to use the Hubble palette and keep it predominately red, but might try the other way after gathering more data.
