Description

A quite challenging object for my sky conditions. But its beauty and the dynamic of that patch of the night sky was too attempting for me, not to give it a try.

You can see the pillar of the dark nebula LDN 1217, crowned by the bright bluish area in the reflection nebula VdB152. In the center of the image, at the bottom, you can observe the planetary nebula Dengel-Hart5, primarily emitting in OIII and Ha. And crossing the entire field, you can find the filaments of the supernova remnant SNR 110.3+11.3.
