Ladies and gentlemen of the night,

today here is a Moon close up on Clavius a very interesting walled plain. It is accompanied of 2 craters Porter and Rutherfurd, see some details below.
It’s a picture that I didn’t process until now. Better late than never. The video has been acquired on the Mak 180 with a barlow x3 at a focal of 8.1 m. I checked in my notepad and as I expected, the seeing was very good this night. To be sure, I still used a 23A to reduce turbulence.

Ami.e.s de la nuit,

aujourd’hui un zoom sur Clavius, une belle plaine murée. Elle est accompagnée de 2 cratères Porter et Rutherfurd, voir quelques détails plus bas.
C’est une image que je n’avais pas encore traitée jusqu’à maintenant. Mieux vaut tard que jamais comme dis le dicton.  La vidéo a été faite sur le Mak 180 avec une barlow x3 a une focale de 8,1 m. J’ai vérifié dans mon cahier de notes et comme prévu, la qualité du ciel cette nuit la était parfaite. Pour être sur de contrer la turbulence, j’ai quand même laissé le 23A.
