Description

Messier 27 was the first of it's type (planetary nebula) discovered.   It lives ~1300 light years away in Vulpecula.   It's large (8x6 arcminutes) and will give up very nice detail.   The latest version of this image is fairly deep, being 6 hours @ f/2.2.   I'm not sure how much more of the "wings" I would be able to get with longer integration time.   I think we're reaching diminishing returns.
