Description

I was imaging with good old SBIG ST8300MM CCD for many years now, but recently decided to try a CMOS camera.

The original thought was to sell the old CCD, but then I realized that I have enough of equipment to setup a second rig.

This is my first image, taken using two imaging rigs, running in parallel from my suburban observatory.

One rig was RC10, G11, ST8300, CCD67 for Lum without any filter and the second was RC8, CGE, ASI294MM, AT2FF for RGB.

RC10 has FL or 1450mm and RC8 has 1600mm so their field of views matched fairly well.

Considering very severe LP at my location, I am happy with the result and that I was able to capture some halo around 3718.

All processing was done with PI - deconvolution, EZDenoise for noise reduction.

I found that EZDenoise was very easy to apply and produced better results than Muredenoise I normally used.
