FYI - Multi Star Guiding with PHD

Description

Just in case somebody is interested in this. Saw that PHD has a dev version out with multi star guiding. And of course I had to try it. Definitely is better than 1 star guiding as far as I can see. I use the MyT from Bisque which is of course a nice mount, NO PEC. I still went with 3 second exposures, it might be actually better with less!

To activate this new feature selects the "brain", goto guiding and select check box "Use multiple stars". See version C.

Description: With 1.5s exposure time, roughly same RMS as with the 3 seconds, but peak is less than 1.3", that makes stars really round. Dec and RA as well pretty similar, even rounder. I checked with PI the raw data and some of them had an eccentricity value of 0.32, do not believe that I ever saw this low value of any image that I took. This is great stuff! Thank you PHD!

Description: Just to confirm that the multi star guiding is working pretty well. Not all images seem to have the same quality, but overall it is looking pretty good!
