Description

SH2-240 or also known as the Spaghetti Nebula or Simeis 147, is a supernova remnant in the border between the constellations of Auriga and Taurus.

I can honestly say that it has been a challenge (and a pain) to photograph.  I've been trying to capture this one for weeks now, but a combination of bad weather, full moon and using the wrong scope first (I tried with the FLT91, but the FOV was too narrow), has led to many disappointing days.   Yesterday,  it was a clear night and managed to image this nebula with my Redcat 51, ZWO 2600MC Pro and Optolong L-Ultimate 3nm dual band filter (Ha, Oiii).  I started with 5 minute exposures, but it wasn't yielding much data, so I went up to 10 minutes and 15 minutes.   I think the result is OK, so if I get another clear night I will spend more time on it, maybe with a different filter.

Clear skies
Eduardo.

Title: Preprocessed with PixInsight

Description: I wasn't happy with the quality of the stacked image I generated with ASIStudio ASIDeepStack. It's a nice easy tool to use, but PixInsight is a lot more powerful. Using this tutorial as my guide (https://www.lightvortexastronomy.com/tutorial-pre-processing-calibrating-and-stacking-images-in-pixinsight.html#Section6), I pre-processed generating a master superbias, master dark, master flat, and then generating calibrated, cosmetically-corrected, debayered, weighting-optimised subs, registered light frames, Local Normalisation and finally Drizzled integrated master light. I think the outcome is much better than before but I will let you decide.
