Description

The Fireworks Galaxy is fairly big in the skies, but quite dim. Thats's because of the stardust that surrounds us. It's like seeing it through a cloud gap in our own milky way.

This photo was taken through a 6" RC with a Canon EOS1300D (thus "hot") in 4 nights, a total exposure of about 11 hours. I think it's fantastic what can be achieved with such a small scope and a DSLR.

Anyway, I've also shot it with a ASI071 for comparison...please judge by yourself ;-)
