It was possible to capture today at dawn (possibly the first in the world from earth) the activation of the ERA manipulator on the Science module.
The sky is not very good, I used ir685, although it was expected to be excellent at dawn.. I did not know that there would be such interesting work, I just tested updated software with realtime stacking to monitor the situation and the quality of the point / double / sky. Tracking, recording and adding in real time takes no more than 60% of the i7 percentage of my laptop.

ISS 29.04.2022 04:26:57 (the beginning of the shooting of the video), altitude ~ 83 degrees. Monty LX200 MadMax. seeing 2/5, transparency 3/5. (1 - bad, 5 - excellent) Meade ACF 16" f/10 tube + Meade zero 2” focuser + 2x refinery (focal ~8 meters) + playerOne imx429 + zwo EFW mini + Baader LRGBI(I). 192fps 640x600, mono12, gain 240, shutter speed 0.9ms. Addition of 20% of 300 frames per AS!3 with wavelets, 100% of the original, the three most successful moments of the video.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
