Description

I photographed the over multiple nights in November and December 2020. This was the most complicated image I’ve ever attempted as I had to use multiple exposure frames to create an HDR image that includes detail in the core and faint dust that surrounds this magnificent deep sky object. I learn a ton of new processing tricks creating this image and I probably have at least 20 hours invested in the processing of this image not including the image acquisition time involved.

I hope you enjoy my first image of the new year!
