Description

I revisited this target from about a year ago to get even greater detail with the new camera and this one blew me away! 😍

The Heart Nebula (IC 1805) is a large emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. This glowing nebula gets its nickname from the familiar shape it resembles and is located approximately 7,500 light-years from Earth. This emission nebula shares a resemblance to a human heart via its glowing ionized hydrogen gas and dark dust lanes.
