Description

I like challenging myself.  I find dark nebula, not only beautiful, but very challenging.  Trying to bring out the very subtle gas, and dust, is such a challenge, and really helps me get better at processing.  So I thought that my flat frames would help get rid of one big dust mote, and one smaller one, but no such luck!  I took apart my scope, and cleaned everything after this image!  Much better now.  But I still wanted to share this very cool region of space in the Orion constellation.  I have imaged this with my C8, but wanted to try at a wider image field.  I will go back and do it again, now that the dust is gone!!  Clear Skies
Mark
