Description

Looking for an early evening "filler" object while the next bunch of brighter nebula emerge from around 10pm in my backyard... I had imaged NGC3576 earlier in the year but thought I'd try a different framing with the main nebula lower in the frame and trying to squeeze in the nebulosity around NGC3572 above it... really I needed a little wider field for this. Too much cropping of the upper nebula and lost space in the middle. Not ideal so I'll cut my losses on this one after 8.5 hours and move along... somehting to try again next year with a wider field...an APC-C sized sensor would be just right with my 585mm here.

Imaged over three nights, one just an hour of Ha so a little more Ha than OIII and SII. 102 x 300s exposures in total.

Stacked into separate channel Ha, OIII, SII, FITs files in APP and the combined and processed in Startools 1.7. Final adjustments in PS.
