Description

Likely the most distant object that can be seen with the unaided eye, the Triangulum Galaxy is part of the Local Group of galaxies consisting of our own Milky Way Galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy, and a number of smaller galaxies such as the Large Magellanic Cloud. Though it can be easily observed through even small telescopes or binoculars, catching a sight of this spiral galaxy with the unaided eye requires exceptionally dark skies.
