Description

M106, also known as NGC 4258, is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. It's about 23.5 million light-years away from Earth. M106 exhibits beautiful spiral arms, filled with gas, dust, and young blue stars. These arms are accompanied by dark dust lanes that trace out the galaxy's spiral structure.
