Description

Last night under full moon I made this Photo. Normally I could capture with a gain of 200 but now I had to decrease the gain to 25! It was also first light, because after a period of 14 years I cleaned the mirror and I made a mask to blend the clips (I also made them 5 mm shorter!) of the mirror to prevent the big black spiders visible on some of my photos. I also see now that the three pastics screws which hold the mirror in place has to loosen a bit and the secondary mirror is not good in place.

This “tiny “ object is at a distance estimated of 8000 light years. The innershell is 20 seconds of arc and 0,8 light years in diameter. The outer shell is 80 seconds of arc and 1,1 light years in diameter. The central star is Magnitude 15.
