Description

This took over three weeks to acquire with cloudy nights and hazy skies dominating the weather. I ended up chasing the moon before it rose and after it set, over the weeks.

This image is cropped.

This southern hemisphere galaxy looks similar to the Whale Galaxy. NGC 4945 is 13 Million light years away. There is a small galaxy (PGC 45317) to the lower left that is 412 Million light years away. Lung fish were just starting to breath the air in the dried up ponds and creeks of the earth when the light created from PGC 45317 and for it to travel to the objective lens of my telescope .
