Description

WR23 is an amazing Wolf Rayet Bubble, unfortunately, it lies in the Eta Carina Complex and gets completely lost. I would even go as far as to say very few people even know it is there. It's a shame, if this object was anywhere else it would be considered a must view object. It is easily visible but hard to pick out in a 10" scope. In the 25" with an H-beta you can see the filament structure.
This is part of my second image for my Eta Carina mosaic.
