Description

This is a composition made from over 1400 pictures tima-lapse (20 seconds each frame) in National Astronomical Observatory of Mexico, located in San Pedro Martir, Baja California Norte, over the dome of 0.84m telescope. Only airplanes trails were removed, leaving all the space activity, in places where they appeared during the night. For the foreground image the first part of the sequence was used, where the galactic core is still visible. Many of the meteors are coming from Orionids meteor shower, although Orion Constellation does not appear in this picture, as it only rises at the end of the sequence.
