Galaxy Edges

Description

This is just to demonstrate how I was able to give the edges of the NGC 3521 contrast vis-à-vis the background sky by overstretching the lum layer (twice), inserting it as screen layers (three times) and masking out the rest. The original image was the lum I was working with. It clearly has the edges, but they don't come close to "popping".

Description: This is the image after applying three screen layers. Still a lot of work to do (this was only revision 18 of what became 25). There are many flaws in this, so just concentrate on how the screen layers brought out the edges.
