Description

This is a completely new approach to the HOO synthetic colours obtained from the OSC: modified Canon 6D. Previously I used the Affinity Photo for stacking and full post processing only. The Ha and OIII effects came from separating the R as Ha and G+B as OIII (0.85*G+B).

The image I just uploaded is stacked using the AP, but after that the PixInsight (used first time with satisfying me results) applied its features and plugins: PCC, NoiseXterminator, StarXterminator, BlurXterminator and finally slightly modified PixelMath with Bill Blanshan's HOO formula.

I'd like to thank Catanonia and Radec, the SGL forum members. I bought the PI several months ago, but only Catanonia and Radec inspired me to use it. Radec instructed me, how to use Bill Blanshan's PixelMath HOO formula. I think this is a milestone in my post processing of nebulas.

Please take into account that it's only 14 x 600s acquisition using 102mm F/7 refractor.
