Description

One of the first two projects I worked with my new QHY600.  I collected this data for Heart Nebula concurrently with data for North America/Pelican.  But since I started North America/Pelican a couple of days earlier, that made Heart Nebula second light for the camera.  Didn't realize I had some reflections on these early subs until I post-processed the data several months after imaging.  Fortunately, I was able to deal with the reflections in post-processing by using StarXterminator and CloneStamp.  I was also able to take care of the reflections in my imaging train with a little bit of Mars Black touchup paint. While I collected the narrowband data for this image in September, I was unhappy with how the stars turned out.  So I captured some RGB data in January to make a more visually appealing star field for this final version of the image.
