Description

The Rho Ophiuci region of the Milky Way core. I've always wanted to shoot this area but it is too low at my location in UK.

The image includes dark obscuring dust lanes (streamers), the bright yellow star Antares, just to the right the globular cluster Messier 4, the blue reflection nebulae IC 4603, IC4604 and IC 4605, a red emission nebula and the blue horse head nebula, IC 4592, at the top

Shot in the Teide National Park with Canon R6 and 24-105mm lens at 105mm f/4 on a star tracker, 20 x 60 secs stacked. I'm pleased with the result considering the very short integration time.
