Description

I did this more out of a whim, to see how much could be done with a fast small telescope, an OSC camera and a triple-band filter during England's Midlands "Bright Time". Normally I'd pack things up and be done with imaging for the period but this time I kept one telescope operative and one for testing purposes. This is (one) of the results I was able to achieve. I must say I'm not too displeased with it and the blend between L-Pro and L-eNhance shots yields agreeable stars colours without further ado (i.e. transplanting RGB stars into the mixed mode frame).

Description: This is some serious reworking of the original data with the main aims being to improve contrast overall and show (albeit faintly, as it turned out) the shock-bow from the jet emanating from Cygnus X-1 which visible companion is the right-hand brighter star of the couple at the end of the umbrella-shaped bow-shock to the left.
