Cartwheel Galaxy

Here is my attempt at the infamous Cartwheel Galaxy. Such a beautiful Galaxy residing at over 500 million light-years in the Sculptor Constellation. It sits low in the Southern sky and was a bit of a challenge to capture. The inner spokes were somewhat resolved and the star-forming outer ring.

It was discovered in 1941 by Swiss astronomer Fritz Zwicky while at the California Institute of Technology. The James Webb Space Telescope image is incredible with the dual layers of a Blue outer ring and a Yellow central core.

The Cartwheel Galaxy Group consists of 4 spiral galaxies including these 3 companions:
G1 - Blue galaxy
G2 - Yellow galaxy
G3 - barely visible in my image at the 7 o'clock position.

Thanks and CS,
Eddie
