Description

I had read a thread on here from Chris White about "don't be afraid of the moon."  So I put on my big boy pants, and set everything up during nice clear windy full moon nights to see what I could get.

I had taken some of my first astronomy pictures using the Hyperstar and an Optolong L-eNhance filter targeting the Soul Nebula two years ago.  I thought it was pretty decent looking, but was concerned that everything just looked red.  That was before I knew the difference between broadband, narrowband, monochrome and OSC imaging.  I didn't know what the Hubble palette was, how to shift hues and had no idea that different filters had different bandpass widths.  At the time, I thought, you need a filter because light pollution... and go.  Well, you know, live and learn.

Fast forward, and I decided to try my hand again at this target at f/7 with my EdgeHD 11 using SHO.  This time, it's not all red.
