Description

I am a fan of thin or even super thin galaxies and with NGC 2683 I have now captured one that takes a very nice picture even in smaller apertures.

NGC 2683 is also relatively alone in the field. The usual "faint fuzzies" are a bit rare here, at least with a 5" inch.

But she was not completely alone that night.

A small rock from our solar system pays her a visit.

With mag 18.1 asteroid Masakazu (#10602) was a good test object for the mag limit of my Baby Newton that night.

But it was, even if only with difficulty, to be seen in the stacked image (see also the inlet in revision B). But I guess the limit is reached here.
