Description

Orion widefield re-processed 2023!

A classic frame of the Orion complex, which contain most famous objects of the winter sky, aviable for both hemispheres (which is fantastic! ).
I took this picture almost two years ago, in early October of 2021 in Bieszczady Mountains, under darkest sky in Poland. I hadn't this object in my schedule, however once i saw the Orion rising above the trees, i had to interrupt imeddiately current sesion of M31 and i relocated my scope on this one
Data was collected over three night under very good conditions and back then it was one of my most longer photographed object (over 8,5hrs), however picture which i'm presenting here is only a part of the whole project - i thought to make short exposures for final HDR-Composition. It came out, that 60sec was way too long for M42's core, which even with that short exposures appeared to be overblown..

Anyway, here is my impression of Orion's widefiled with the fantastic Flame, Horsehead, Running Man and Orion's Nebulae's in a very exposure time of only 70 mins in total!
