Description

This is my second attempt at recording the motion of an asteroid. While it was really windy out (you'll notice the frames jumping), I think I was able to get a decent result for the proper motion of the asteroid over a period of about three hours. I also am much happier with the processing I did this time around (versus my first attempt at Ceres). Image stretching for minor planets is a bit different from doing DSO or Planetary since it's kind of 50% of each. You're doing longer exposures (1-2 minutes) on a target that's moving and dim and instead of a picture, your aim is video of the movement. But anyway, I stretched this image in such a way that the end result gif animation isn't nearly so noisy as it was before. I also cut down on the annotations since I think it was getting in the way of appreciating the object itself.
