Description

Sometimes I am having unbridled wild instinctive ideas. Last night, it was autoguiding the Moon. The adventure ended up with me finding that tracking performs better although the PHD curve looked great. Reasons being,
1. the optical axis of the AG scope cannot be aligned in parallel to the telescope axis.
2. an FL=120mm AG scope may not be able to handle an effective FL of some 4000mm.
Next time more attention on polar alignment. 👍

Although I did not feel like getting up at 1:30AM with one dog on my left and another dog on my right arm, it cleared up and the rare fortune lasted until dusk though the air wasn't as calm as during my previous session. In spite of over 80%RH, no hair dryer used this time, as the new dew shield did a good job.

The final version is a mosaic of 22 panels, 4ms, gain 150, 170fps, mono8, 10-bit, 1.5x drizzled. The western rim of Plato looks so good when the sun is shining from the west.

BTW, dogs are warm and they don't talk.🥰
