Description

Taken from California USA on March 24th 2022 shows Comet Borrelly as it first enters my field of view for my scope/camera combination.  The high clouds during the day dissipated soon after I began imaging so in fear of loosing some frames I limited the exposures to only 30 seconds.  I was able to keep and use 133 exposures and the evening cleared revealing plenty of detail in the California Nebula (No need for Ha data in darks skies).  The camera cooler died, with no known explanation, so half of the light frames were imaged with camera temperatures recoded at ~ 20C!

Pretty sight.  I wish this 10th magnitude was a little closer to earth being at 1.6A.U.
