Description

A rather widefield perspective of the Pavo-Indus supercluster of galaxies which is dominated by the large elliptical galaxy IC4765. This supercluster is not considered to be a major supercluster and does not contain large concentrations of galaxies. However,  i thought i'd post it as I just get drawn into the image when i look at it and begin to notice all those little blobs of light which each contain billions of stars in their own right. This supercluster connects to the A3627 cluster which then connects to the Centaurus supercluster. It's an area that is not imaged much but i reckon it's worth a good look at.
