Description

The Eastern Veil Nebula is part of the greater Veil Nebula. This image contains NGC 6992, NGC 6995, & IC 1340. The nebula is located 1470 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus.

This image is a 9-panel mosaic taken at 0.56 arc-seconds/pixels. Each frame is an integration of 12 hours for a total of 108 hours.

Taken over several nights between June to September 2019 from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
