Description

Using both the C11EdgeHD with the 2600mcPro and the RC10 with the 2600mmPro on the same target. The M65 and M66 galaxies in Leo. Both scopes are close in FL. 1994mm vs 1771mm. Giving both cameras a similar image scale I wanted to try what I could yield from a single night on a well positioned target. Clouds are a big issue...

Framing up these galaxies in both scopes and running both cameras at 100gain 70 offset 2x2bin mode. Both mountings worked great and tracking was spot on with both rigs. Dropping only 6 frames with the RC10 and 8 frames with the C11EdgeHD.

This is the first pass with a standard workflow in PI. All subs were stacked automatically with PI. Since I captured at 2x2bin I did a 3x drizzle in the stacking process and then processed the master RGB and Lum images. RGB stars from the 2600mcPro were used without applying Lum (and the spikes from the RC10) from the 2600mmPro image.

Interested in any and all feedback on this process of data acquisition.
