Description

M78 is the brightest reflection nebula in a group of nebulae lying in the constellation Orion. Barnard's loop is visible on the left side of the image.

This image comprises about 8 hours worth of data. I used a combination of about 6 hours of data shot with the Celestron LP filter to capture the reflection nebulae and dark nebulosity, along with about 2 hours shot using the NBZ to bring out the Ha in Barnard's loop.

This was shot using the Celestron RASA 8, ASI 294 MC Pro and captured with the ASIAIR Pro.

Data was calibrated and stacked in Astropixel Processor and processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.
