Description

At the end of my deep sky imaging session on the night of Sept 4 to 5, the moon was up so I thought I would take a short video and try a stack. It happened that the sky was incredibly still, really excellent seeing, almost no visible movement of the surface of the moon on the video. I stacked the video in Autostackert!, keeping 95% of the frames and even did a drizzle of 1.5. I sharpened the result in Registax using wavelets.

It's worth to take a look at full resolution, probably the sharpest moon image I can get with this setup. It was certainly a great night to do high resolution planetary work!
