Long time backyard astronomer. I have had telescopes for over 54 years, some Refractors and some Dob's as well. Just picked up my first Celestron SCT for down here and want to continue to dabble in observing and astrophotography. Former member of Night Sky 45 group out of Salem, Oregon. Just moved to beautiful Arizona just east of Yuma, in the Foothills area (Bortle 4) and looking for locals here to go out and relearn what I've forgotten over the years. Have built one 6" Dob and have a 13" mirror for another project someday.
