A retired pharmaceutical executive, trained as a biochemist. A scientist at heart, with a lifelong passion for all that is astronomical, cosmological, etc. Just prior to retiring, I decided to take what had been a visual hobby (since my teens) and get a dedicated astrophotography rig. I love now seeing what cannot be seen through an eyepiece. But science draws me to use what I have learned from this hobby to extend this to objects that move or change. I enjoy biking, hiking and skiing.
