New to astrophotography... Purchased a six inch "Edmund Scientific" Newtonian telescope in 1973 which I enjoyed, but it was frustrating to use because of its limitations.... Retired and purchased a Nikon DSLR in 2016 and became aware of the advancements of Digital Photography. Pictures of kids, flowers and animals evolved to astronomy and the sophisticated telescopes and mounts available to the consumer. Was blown away by the capabilities and got interested in this fascinating hobby. Bought my first serious setup (RASA 11 with ASI1600MM cool) at age 75 and am having an enormous amount of pleasure learning to use it.
