Enjoyed watching meteor showers while camping under the stars sparked my curiosity in our amazing universe. That curiosity remained dormant until I neared retirement and decided to get some gear and learn how to use it. Forward a few years and a permanent dome observatory was constructed, under some very good dark skies in very rural southwest Alabama where we will relocate upon retirement.
