I started out with a 5" Celestron SCT, which was quickly followed by a Meade 8" SCT once I realized I wanted to take photos. I sold both of those to purchase an Explore Scientific 80mm APO.
I feel like I will forever be learning. I still feel new to Astrophotography, even though I have been at it for almost 2 years now. Plagued by what seems like endless cloudiness and equipment malfunctions, I feel like I may finally be in a good place to learn and grow.
Only having a Nikon D3300, I would someday love to own a more expensive, full frame camera, or perhaps even a CCD. For now, I will learn with what I have.
