Since a young age, I've always been interested about space. I blame Star Wars and later Star Trek, but oh well... I never looked through a telescope until I was about 28 years old. I created a simple computer animation of nuclear fusion within a star for an Astro-physicist while I was in college. He used it as a presentation tool he was asked to speak at for a "star party". He asked me to join him incase his laptop crapped out on him. Long story short, I was rubbing elbows with star gazers from all over the country and one guy asked if I wanted to see Saturn. I was like, "heck yeah". After two steps on the ladder next to this massive Dob, I saw the rings for the first time.
Ten years later, I'm currently saving up for gear and trying to learn what I can about astro-imaging, tracking, formulas, etc.
