Getting close to retirement and reassuming amateur astronomy, as a serious activity, including astrophotography. Leaving soon the teaching and research will allow me to go deep into general education projects, as a sort of contribution to youngsters entering into science and engineering fields. Married and we live in an area where nice and clear sky can be enjoyed for a decent part of the year. As a common hobby we dedicated to develop organic agriculture techniques at common-homes scales, incorporating renewable energies (mostly solar) and recycling (compost/worms...).
My observatory is ready, is called AR-TA-MI in honour to my first dogs ARturo and TAnia, and also to my first cat MerlIn, the three gave me so much beautiful and lovely moments that deserve to be remembered.
