Description

Another "Blast from the Past" - an old SBIG ST-8e image with an 80mm APO of the gulf region of the North America Nebula, an emission nebula where stars are likely forming in droves. Located just north of the blue giant star, Deneb, and right next door to the Pelican Nebula, NGC-7000 lies roughly 2600 light years away.
